Christians in India Plea for End in Hindu Nationalist Rampages

The tally of Christians murdered and persecuted in India grows as they continue in the crosshairs of Hindu fundamentalists enraged by the August 23 murder of Hindu fundamentalist leader Swami Laxanananda and five followers. Most of the violence has occurred in the state of Orissa. >>>>>

Muslims know exactly how the church hurts at this moment. It’s refreshing to see that not only Muslims recognize the nationalism in India (the world’s largest democracy) to be in favor of Hindus. Muslims make up about 200 million of India’s population. It would be more appropriate if the church would recognize their plight and join forces in calling for a more true democracy or at least a non-caste system that benefits the nation of India, and not it’s privileged class or one faith.
