Although American intelligence and government sources are maintaining a strictly observed silence, the same does not apply to the Russians and so it is that we learn the real story of the MV Iran Deyanat. She was an enormous floating dirty bomb, intended to detonate after exiting the Suez Canal at the eastern end of the Mediterranean and in proximity to the coastal cities of Israel. The entire cargo of radioactive sand, obtained by Iran from China (the latter buys desperately needed oil from the former) and sealed in containers which, when the charges on the ship are set off after the crew took to the boats, will be blasted high into the air where prevailing winds will push the highly dangerous and radioactive cloud ashore. >>>>>
“We get reports of people coming in to pay off people to vote against it. Whether it’s true or not I have no specific proof, but there are many intelligence reports that say that activity is going on.” >>>>>
Which means that this is rumor. We have more than rumor saying that AIPAC has done far worse, and yet make no substantive move against them in the U.S.
PAKISTAN’S new spy chief has shown law-makers images of militants slaughtering people in a rare, closed briefing on the country’s battle against the Taliban and al-Qaida.
But, just as intelligence and military chiefs were briefing law-makers on the campaign against Islamist extremists, a bomber struck at police headquarters in the heart of the capital. >>>>>
Asked if Osama bin Laden could be captured if action was taken on information provided by Afghan intelligence, Saleh said: “If we manage to bring Pakistan’s military in a full committed manner [into] this war – yes.” >>>>>
Aside from the fact that this is posturing propaganda…This puppet is still trying to sell the idea that Osama bin Laden is ‘still out there.’ What is more foolish than that, there is no correlation with the heavy fighting and resistance (considered terrorism by the U.S. and NATO), with the illegal occupation (considered war crimes, if not terrorism, by the rest of the world and international law).
WASHINGTON — In the aftermath of two major terrorist attacks on Western targets, America‘s counterterrorism community is warning that Al Qaeda may launch more overseas operations to influence the presidential elections in November. >>>>>
Why is it that in some basic matters, the intelligence community is very tight-lipped. In matters such as these seems to be something that a prudent person or agency would not want the public to know – or would they?
Intelligence service earlier said the suspects had links to leading al-Qaida figures but the charges read out on Monday in a Copenhagen court did not mention such links. >>>>>
Which should mean that there are no such links, and they used the term al-Qaida to justify charges they never had to begin with…possibly. While I acknowledge that their culpability is possible, with Muslims getting railroaded around the world, any slight benefit of the doubt due to the brother/sister should be given. I see more than a shadow of a doubt already.
