Controversial Mohammed book condemned

Though Rochdale based Ramadhan Foundation has strongly urged Muslims to remain peaceful they have condemned the book saying it is an “attempt to belittle and spear one of the greatest woman in Islam Aisha.” The organisation believes the book does nothing to promote understanding between faiths.

Said chief executive of the Foundation, Mohammed Shafiq: “I am disgusted at the novel and the plans by Gibson Square to publish, this serves no purpose and does little to promote understanding between communities – indeed attacking the central figures of Islam under the guise of freedom of speech is patronising and the world sees their attempt to belittle our faith.”  >>>>>
