“In a meeting Tuesday, the day before she delivered her primetime address at the Republican National Convention, Palin assured the group of her strong support for Israel, of her desire to see the United States move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and of her opposition to Iran’s aspirations to become a nuclear power,” said The Washington Post.
Curiously, The Washington Post repeated the AIPAC tidbit at the bottom of the same story.
“One of Palin’s few meetings this week with outside groups was with AIPAC, a sign of how politically important it is for the GOP ticket to demonstrate its support of Israel,” noted the newspaper. >>>>>
What is still amazing is that the U.S. citizenry are not up in arms about the fact that all presidential and vice-presidential candidates have to not only pay homage to AIPAC, a representative of a foreign nation – Israel, and even if it were the UK; it should not be a stepping stone in taking on an office of the USA.
Yet we make AIPAC the number-one group to appease prior to even accepting the nomination. Worse yet, AIPAC is involved in an espionage case; whereby, there is already a conviction given to one of our own Pentagon analysts, Larry Franklin. He is setup to help the prosecution try the indicted two AIPAC employees, Steve Rosen and Keith Weissman, involved in the case on behalf of the same government, Israel, that our public officials are forced to kiss up to.
There is no need for anti-Semitic rants. On the basis of pure merit, this organization should not have the power it has; nor should it even exist. If these members were Muslim, they would be residing in Guantanamo – the whole lot of them.
