Rice in Algeria after historic Kadhafi meeting

She was to leave Algiers later Saturday for Morocco, but ignored the fifth Maghreb nation of Mauritania, amid US refusal to recognize the legitimacy of its leaders after a military coup there.

Rice was greeted at Algiers airport at around 1330 GMT by her Algerian counterpart Mourad Medelci before holding talks with Bouteflika, focused on the fight against extremists, the future of the disputed Western Sahara and the strengthening of economic ties, Algeria’s state radio reported.  >>>>>

While the U.S. skipped Mauritania because they gracefully “refuse” to accept the legitimacy of the existing post-coup government; would not the same judgment apply to the Bouteflika regime, that crushed elections prior to a democratically-elected win in the early 1990’s?  I guess the tactic of sending an African-American back to the motherland is being milked for everything it’s worth.  Meritoriously, Ghadafi, Bouteflika, nor most of the other nations trust the U.S. involvement in their region.  They are playing along.

  1. With havin so much content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any solutions to help prevent content from being stolen? I’d definitely appreciate it.
