Xenophobia: Abuja meeting calls for renewed efforts against racism

New York, US – An African regional meeting hosted in Abuja, Nigeria, has called for renewed efforts in combating racism and xenophobia. The Pan African News Agency (PANA) reports that the three-day meeting was conven ed in preparation for next year’s review of the World Conference Against Racism. >>>>>

Most Westerners can empathize and vicariously relate to the plight of Africans (millions of whom were Muslim) enslaved and brought to this nation while simultaneously witnessing the genocide of Native Americans and the hatred that it came from. Muslims and others have fallen victim to the self-righteous mindset of the past. Today-hundreds of years later, we’re still fighting the same fight, maybe in different shades and manners – but the same fight, nonetheless.
