…The statement from Warner Independent Pictures says, “One of the ideas conveyed in the film is that we all make assumptions about each other, without knowing, based on racial stereotypes. It was our goal in releasing Towelhead to help make this point. >>>>>

It is evident that the goals are much more than teaching about stereotypes. It appears more that it wanted to do the following:

— Create a wave of controversy, as this brings people to buy tickets. This kind of publicity stunt is usually applied to cover the lack of substantive content.

— Allows for a subtle form of continuing the propaganda of hateful smearing against Arabs, Christian, Muslim or otherwise.
