SILIVRI, Turkey — One of the most sensational public trials in Turkish history began Monday, as a court started hearing a case against 86 people — among them retired army generals, journalists and a former university rector — charged with assassinations, bomb attacks and trying to topple the government…
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose governing party, Justice and Development, is said to have been a prominent target in the plots, has been accused of using the case to silence critics who say his party has an Islamist agenda. >>>>>
Not one time in this article is the word ‘terrorism’ used. If a secularist group of conspirators TERRORIZES by trying to topple a democratically-elected government that has ‘Islamic’ leanings, it is not looked upon as being terrorism. Furthermore, instead of making the Prime Minister seem like a victim, this article paints him as a shrewd politician that somehow wrongfully uses this as a means of protecting his Islamist agenda. This is a subtle approach, yet still pure propaganda.

British security sources confirmed that such a link had been discovered in several cases. They noted the contradiction between people supposedly devoted to theocracy and Islamic fundamentalism and their use of child pornography. “It shows that these people are very confused,” a source said. “Here they are hating Western decadence but actually making use of it and finding that they enjoy this stuff.” >>>>>
It looks like the UK is getting desperate with their accusations and smears against Muslims. It’s interesting that much of the porn is produced in Israel and consumed by Western men. Maybe it’s true, that terrorists are using such tactics–but not necessarily Muslim terrorists. Also interesting in the article is that it doesn’t mention Muslims associated with ‘terrorism’ ever being convicted of child pornography. Come to think of it, the overwhelming amount of Muslims arrested for terrorism are not convicted of terrorism either. This bit of trash produced by the media is designed to continue smearing Muslims. This tactic worked when used against Catholic priests; many parishioners shied away from the church. This is effort is partly designed to get people from leaving leaving the mosques to join secularism–the bastien most easily susceptible to governmental abuse disguised as a ‘free society’ — and the push for child-porn is actually welcomed and consumed by the general public. By now, more people than ever, Muslim and non-Muslim, Westerner and non-Westerner, are becoming more aware of the trash that governments use in order to secure an advantage to remove elements of a system they call democratic and just, when it’s anything but a just democracy.

The Congress seems to hope that the minorities will come back to its fold.
CNN-IBN has learnt that the party’s poll campaign will highlight the fact that associating Islam with terror attacks is not right as in the case of Jamia encounter.
The Congress has raised questions and that attacks on Christians in Orissa and Karnataka show that under the NDA, minorities are unsafe. >>>>>

Thanks to investigative reporting of Will Evans and reader Robin McLaren, we’ve uncovered the identity of one of the formerly secret producers of Obsession (you’ll recall that the Clarion Fund listed two producers’ names for the film and both were fake). His name is Erik Werth, and he’s a former Clinton Administration advisor for “homeland security issues” (though there was no such concept in the Clinton Administration) and news producer for NBC’s Dateline. >>>>>
So, do the people who complain about the disproportionate power within the mainstream media at least get an “I told you so?”
“By the way, if Clarion and all these other alleged 501c3 Jewish groups are NOT supporting or opposing political candidates (remember that IRS exemption application question), then what are they doing at the RJC dinner? In particular, why is the producer of the film at a Republican-affiliated dinner and being identified with the film in this blog? Shouldn’t that make an IRS official begin to wonder whether this group is really non-partisan? And I wonder whether Clarion paid for their tickets? Wouldn’t that constitute yet another partisan activity?
And the next time you read any of these groups like Clarion, Stand With Us, JINSA or the Shalem Center claim that they are non-partisan, remind them of this passage and then laugh at the joke.” (Ending of linked article).

The Rev. Bolis Jacob, of Mosul’s Mar Afram Church, told AP he couldn’t understand the attacks. “We respect the Islamic religion and the Muslim clerics,” he said. “We don’t know under what religion’s pretexts these terrorists work.” >>>>>
The good reverend cannot understand because the Christians lived under peace with the Muslims before the was invaded and occupied. This appears to be more of a false-flag operation in order to pit one group (Christians) against another (Muslims) without this having been the case prior. There is no proof of this that is public yet; but it is part of the occupiers’ modis operandi. There is also no proof that the leaflets threatening the Christians were actually committed by Muslims.

Why is it that Islamophobes continue to come up with “tests” that American Muslims must pass in order to be considered moderate, or for that matter to be considered real Americans. Daniel Pipes has a test and I’m proud to say, that I like Hamza Yusuf would fail. David Horowitz has a petition for Muslim students to sign to prove their “moderation” as part of his recent “Islamo Fascism Awareness Week” whose four key principals any Muslim could agree with, but which would require any Muslim signing the petition to agree with the mischaracterization of terrorists and extremists as “Islamo Fascists” thus blaming the religion of Islam for their criminal acts.

Morocco is trying to stem radicalism with a two-track approach, combining attempts to promote a tolerant brand of Islam with the detentions of thousands of extremist suspects.
The arrests have elicited criticism from human rights groups, which say that the secret service has abducted dozens of suspects illegally, taking them to detention centres such as the ill-famed Temara near the capital Rabat.
Police have also cracked down on non-violent Islamist movements, such as the non-parliamentary (), which many analysts regard as Morocco’s biggest de-facto political party. >>>>>
Therefore, this is stating that Morocco is cutting out their competition which would otherwise win in a democratic election. It seems like the burying of this data within stories that talk about matters that are highly disturbing to most people is an effective propaganda tool to rid any Islamic reference to an otherwise uncorrupted democracy.

MotherJones.com: How far back does collaboration between the U.S. military and Hollywood go?
David Robb: The current approval process was established right after World War II. Before that, the Pentagon used to help producers, but it wasn’t very formalized, like it is now. They helped producers going back to at least 1927. The very first movie that won an Oscar, “Wings,” — even that got military assistance. more >>>

Another “Obsession” interviewee, Brigitte Gabriel, told the Australian Jewish News: “Every practising Muslim is a radical Muslim.” She also claimed that “Islamo-fascism is a politically-correct word…it’s the vehicle for Islam…Islam is the problem.” When asked whether Americans should “resist Muslims who want to seek political office in this nation,” Gabriel said:
“Absolutely. If a Muslim who has — who is — a practicing Muslim who believes the word of the Koran to be the word of Allah, who abides by Islam, who goes to mosque and prays every Friday, who prays five times a day — this practicing Muslim, who believes in the teachings of the Koran, cannot be a loyal citizen to the United States of America.”

“Hizbullah is building capabilities against us that contravene the agreement signed by the Lebanese government at the end of the war,” said Eisenkot. “Therefore there is legitimacy to continue the flights over southern Lebanon and over Lebanon in general.” >>>>>
While this is a logical point…it should apply to ALL of the previous agreements that Israel has breached. It should also apply to the violation of UN Resolutions and international laws in general that has taken place, for which other parties tend to bring up to deaf ears.
Incidentally, the part of the article that states the “…war, which was sparked by a Hizbullah cross-border attack against an Israeli army patrol,” is not true. This article lacks in substance, objectivity and true journalism, and serves as a propaganda piece.

Ankara, Turkey – Fighting between Kurdish rebels and Turkey’s army and air force in southern Turkey and northern Iraq has killed 15 soldiers and at least 23 insurgents, the military said Saturday, in the deadliest battle between the long-time enemies this year. >>>>>
Muslim on Muslim fighting, neither particularly for any Islamic purpose; but both use Islamic rights as reasons to fight, not recognizing that both were setup by the very same countries and people(s) that claimed to be there allies/friends to begin with. This scenario is playing out in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine, Caucus Region, and is spreading to a neighborhood near you.
Notice how the Iraqi resistance against Saddam Hussein were once labeled resistance? Today they are insurgents. Their usefulness as an ally is diminishing for the West. With gained
‘independence’ come gained notoriety. The same is happening to the Kurds at the moment. This is not an attack on Turkey. It’s just that the Kurds are the insurgents in this article. My point is that all is relative to who is reporting.
This relativity is what is ignored by the Western populous and is actually working against their favor by the very perpetrators of those who control the infrastructure of the media and the economy. It’s time to become more aware of how we’re being played by these and other forces.

But Gadahn dismissed Pakistan’s protests as a “cynical public relations ploy”.
Gadahn has made a number of videotaped messages on behalf of al Qaeda. In January, he urged Islamist militants to welcome President George W. Bush with bombs when he visited the Middle East and tore up his U.S. passport on camera. >>>>>
There was a time when the U.S. did not give in to terrorists in any way. There is still a media policy not to report on suicides. Still today, there are many things that should be broadcast to the American public that is not for the sake of minimizing the sense of loss and the diminishing support for the War on Terror. Why is it so important to put this guy out there compared to showing the flag-draped coffins of service members who return from the occupation? It’s because showing him suits the psychological warfare against the American public; and not showing the coffins does the same.

The Defense Department will pay private U.S. contractors in Iraq up to $300 million over the next three years to produce news stories, entertainment programs and public service advertisements for the Iraqi media in an effort to “engage and inspire” the local population to support U.S. objectives and the Iraqi government…
Contractors require security clearances, and proof that their teams possess sufficient linguistic abilities and knowledge of Iraqi culture. The Iraqi government has little input on U.S. operations, although U.S. officials say they have encouraged Iraqis to be more aggressive in molding public support.
The Pentagon is sensitive to criticism that it has sometimes blurred the lines between public-affairs activities and unattributed propaganda. As information operations in Iraq expanded, some senior officers warned that they risked a return to psychological and deception operations discredited during the Vietnam War. >>>>>
As much television and radio programming that exists in the West, how much of it is “engaging and inspiring the local population to support U.S. objectives” and other governments? It seems that the soil of democracy is fertilized with U.S. dollars.

The hit Turkish soap “Nour” has sparked a rash of divorces in countries across the Middle East as women compare their real-life husbands to the TV heart throb.
During the past four months, on a daily base, a tall young man with soulful blue eyes has been stealing hearts across the Middle East, from the refugee camps of the Gaza Strip to the gated mansions of Riyadh. >>>>>
The linked title wrongfully associates Turks with Arabs. Even in the article, the most prominent change seems to be of those in Turkey. The common denominator is that they are primarily Muslim.
While the show is about Muslims, the intentions of the creators of the show is to strip Islam from the Muslims. It is not the soap star, also indicated in the linked article title, that is the danger to society. It is the overall message of the soap opera in its entirety.
Like ‘El Clon’ (Islamically-themed Latin America soap opera), soap operas offer an insight to much of the culture of the ethnic and secular-promoting ideologies rather than that of Islam, Christianity or other religious belief; yet purports these elements to be what is expected by the public of its respective religion. In many cases, it leaves the viewer shunning many of the corrupted portrayals of these cultural attributes that are cleverly suggested as something to shy away from. Combine this with secular-leaning visual and audio nuances that entice viewer(s)–predominantly women– to initiate mini-crises at home that ultimately contribute to the eventual breakdown of the family. It worked for the West. Why not try it out in the Islamic world? This breakdown in family can be viewed as a possible element of the War on Islam – aka – War on Terror being struck from within.
For those who are about to comment that I am reading too much into this; let’s use a Western example that many do not realize also has grossly affected societies regarding a strong compromise between religion and secular culture. The example of Santa Claus is the first that comes to mind. While he is portrayed as a friendly, jolly, generous, virtually omnipotent (for he can grant wishes of just about any nature and travel to children all over the world in a single night) being doesn’t seem to be something harmful on the surface to a secularist or a non-devoutly practicing Christian.
But the very holiday (Christmas) that is celebrated is a Christian holiday (with Santa being a secular creation). In Christianity and Judaism–as well as Islam, the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy (associating other gods with the One God). If this is the case, is not the concept of the secular-Santa contributing to this sin that is considered the most evil of all other sins? If you disagree, my recommendation is to ask your pastor, priest or rabbi to give you a straight answer on this pagan-adopted secular practice. If it is not clear after seeking their counsel, read the scriptures of your own religion for yourself. Many would even argue that the secularization of Christmas was purposefully done to guide people away from their true religious path – by way of deceptive enticements that appeal to the children, especially.
Do you see where something so fun and seemingly innocent can cause one to become trapped into a temporary haze that has ulterior motives in the celebration (such as is being done to sell the bailout as a tool that will help the national economy; when the powers at be know full well, this is not going to be the case)? Muslims tend to recognize this and are rightfully steadfast in their stance.
Of all the remarkable things that has so far come out about this soap opera, is that Muslims are divorcing in droves. This kind of pop culture activity is a great part of the reason why Western media and culture are shunned in many of these lands. Would you not caution your own family members from maybe too much violence, too much nudity, too much propaganda? Well, this is what these Muslim scholars who oppose this kind of entertainment are trying to prevent.

Now, Salman Rushdie has declared that he has nothing against true believers until their faith spills over into the public sphere and becomes “my business”. That, he must know is a fallacious distinction. It is like saying that one has nothing against a novelist as long as he does not publish his novels.
Before that January day in Bradford, the Left-liberal consensus was notionally on the side of the Muslim community, which in Britain is predominantly Asian. Since that day there has been a creeping racialist antipathy towards Muslims, by the Left. >>>>>

“The entire Afghan government is hoping that the civilian administration in Pakistan will be able to bring the security forces under its control,” he said.
Asked if Osama bin Laden could be captured if action was taken on information provided by Afghan intelligence, Saleh said: ”If we manage to bring Pakistan’s military in a full committed manner [into] this war – yes.” >>>>>
Aside from the fact that this is posturing propaganda…This puppet is still trying to sell the idea that Osama bin Laden is ’still out there.’ What is more foolish than that, there is no correlation with the heavy fighting and resistance (considered terrorism by the U.S. and NATO), with the illegal occupation (considered war crimes, if not terrorism, by the rest of the world and international law).
