…Unlike conventional insurance policies, where the risk is shifted from the policyholder to the insurance company, Salaam Halal will use a structure known as Takaful which spreads the risk between all policyholders. >>>>>
Congratulations to the UK, for claiming to be a democracy and allowing another Islamic option into society! Sharing accountability, the Islamic way.

Asalamalaikum Mr Abdulaziz Hamad Aljomaih. You are on board of directors of Karachi Electric Supply corporation Pakistan.
Do you know how much the people of Karachi are suffering due to prolonged load-shedding, unannounced, unwarranted power shutdowns, with increase in electricity billing?
In Defence Phase 2 the electricity is regularly shut off for more then two hours at a stretch, causing misery, economic loss to people who have to operate businesses, especially small businessmen and housewives suffer.
The photocopiers, the internet service users, students who are doing distance learning, the food that is stored in the refrigerators goes rotten, in a country that is facing the challenge of “food security”, increase in fuel costs, and economic recession. Mr Shaukat Aziz probably did not foresee this as he too was an MBA, who in all probability has never experienced the physical, psychological effects of load shedding/no electricity.
When one stays awake at night due to no fan service, let alone airconditioning, then the productivity suffers next day! Ofcourse you know that Sir!
Why do we have to suffer and then pay twice the amount that we were paying two months ago?
Why is KESC still not able to keep up though Siemens is doing O & M. From your name I assume that you are Muslim. Hence you would be believing in the Day of judgement. Sir, do you think you shall be held accountable for all the hard earned halal food that we have to throw out of our refrigerators, since it goes bad and becomes dangerous for health and life because KESC choses to shut down the electricity for hours and hours at a go! And ofcourse KESC has a monopoly so it doesnt fear anyone. It is all powerful and the people who cannot afford 15KV generators or even 5KV generators just suffer in silence in this blistering heat. And ofcourse the blessed month of Ramadan is just around the corner. But KESC doesnt have to think of a Ramadan relief package for the Muslims of Karachi and Pakistan.
Since the KESC website is not interactive or doesnt want to spend time of customer feedback electronically in this twenty first century, I am using this way to reach you. I shall hold you accountable on the day of Judgement sir!
I hope that someone passes this comment to you and your other Muslim brethren who are on the board of directors of KESC. Allah is watching and all knowing anyway!
May Allah bless you Aameen
